Who are we?

OUR HISTORY

Dive into the fascinating history of La Poste Group's prestigious philatelic entity : Philaposte

Key dates : 

1880 : Initially entrusted to the Monnaie de Paris, the administration des Postes bought the printing of stamps-poste  

1895 : A new printing plant and depot for stamps-poste are built at Boulevard Brune (Paris 14ème)  

June 15, 1970 : Inauguration of the printing plant for stamps-poste and fiduciary values by Yves GUENA, Minister of Post and Telecommunications

May 1989 :  Creation of the Service National des timbres-poste et de la philatélie (SNTP)

March 2006 : The SNTP becomes Philaposte, the printing plant is then renamed Philaposte Boulazac

Philaposte wants to democratize philately and make it accessible and understandable to everyone ! That's why the La Poste Group entity takes a keen interest in innovation. In fact, by adapting to today'sconsumption patterns, Philaposte aims to expand its customer base and become the global reference for philately.

Our SHOPS/POINTS OF SALE

In addition to its many distribution channels, Philaposte has two physical boutiques, where you can find all the current stamps and philatelic products.

These spaces have been thought out and designed to immerse our visitors in the extraordinary world of philately blending art with history.

Le Carré d'Encre

Ideally located in the heart of Paris, Carré d'Encre offers (through its 300m2), an ideal surface entirely dedicated to timbers, philately and correspondence. It's also an events and exhibition space where you can meet your favorite artists !

Le Carré d'Imprimerie

Ideally located in the heart of l'imprimerie in Boulazac, the Carré d'Imprimerie is a new feature, inspired by its Parisian counterpart but only accessible after completing a tour of l'Imprimerie. This space completes the immersion into the world of timbre and philatelie.
